Shearing Machine Hydraulic

We are a professional shearing machine manufacturer with over 10 years of industry experience. Today, we would like to introduce the common faults and solutions of shearing machine to you:

Shearing machine as the key equipment for metal plate processing, its operating status directly affects the production efficiency and product quality. In the actual use of the process, the shearing machine will appear a variety of fault problems, timely and accurate diagnosis and troubleshooting of these faults is to ensure that the production of an important prerequisite for smooth progress. In this paper, we will systematically introduce the common faults of the shearing machine in the form of performance, causes and corresponding solutions.

1, Insufficient shear

Insufficient shear force is mainly manifested in incomplete shearing of the plate or rough shear surface. The main reasons for this failure include insufficient pressure in the hydraulic system, improperly adjusted blade gap or blade wear. Check should first confirm whether the hydraulic system pressure to reach the set value, the oil pump and relief valve is working properly. Secondly, we should check whether the upper and lower blade gap is in line with the current thickness requirements of the processed material. Solutions include adjusting the hydraulic system pressure to the standard value, recalibrate the blade gap, and timely replacement of badly worn blades.

2, Shear angle deviation

Shear angle deviation will affect the processing accuracy of the product. Causes of this failure are mainly due to the positioning of the rear stopper is not allowed, the angle adjustment mechanism is loose or the control system parameters are wrong. To deal with this, we need to check the mechanical positioning accuracy and repeat positioning accuracy of the rear stopper, confirm the fastening status of the angle adjustment mechanism, and recalibrate the control system parameters if necessary. For CNC shearing machine, it is also necessary to check the working status of the servo drive system to ensure that the moving parts are coordinated.

3, Equipment abnormal vibration

Shearer in the working process of abnormal vibration, usually caused by the foundation is not stable, loose fasteners or moving parts wear. The solution includes checking whether the equipment installation foundation is solid, re-tightening all the connecting bolts, checking the wear and tear of transmission gears, bearings and other moving parts and timely replacement. For equipment used for a long time, also check whether the frame has deformation or crack phenomenon.

4, Hydraulic system failure

Hydraulic system failure is mainly manifested in unstable pressure, high oil temperature or abnormal cylinder action. Common causes include hydraulic oil contamination, oil pump wear or hydraulic valve stagnation. Solution measures include replacing the hydraulic oil to meet the requirements, cleaning or replacement of filters, overhaul or replacement of damaged hydraulic components. Routine maintenance should regularly check the oil quality, keep the hydraulic system clean.

5, Electrical control system failure

Electrical failures may result in equipment failure to start or uncontrolled action. Common problems include poor line contact, damage to control components or program errors. Troubleshooting should start from the power supply, and gradually check the control circuit, to confirm the sensor, relay and other components of the working state. For the CNC system, it is also necessary to check whether the program parameters are correct, if necessary, to carry out a system reset or program reinstallation.

6, The blade chipped or cracked

Blade damage will directly affect the quality of shear. Causes of blade damage include material too hard, improper heat treatment of the blade or overload. Preventive measures include choosing the right material for the blade, avoid cutting materials beyond the capacity of the equipment, regularly check the status of the blade. When blades are found to have chipped or cracked edges, they must be replaced immediately to avoid further damage.

7, Feeding system failure

Feeding system failure will affect the production efficiency and machining accuracy. Common problems include feeding inaccuracy, jamming or feeding mechanism noise. Solutions include adjusting the parameters of the feeding mechanism, checking the tightness of the drive chain or belt, clean up the feeding track on the foreign body. For automatic feeding systems, it is also necessary to check whether the sensor position is accurate.

8, Abnormal noise

Abnormal noise is often a precursor to equipment failure. Different parts of the noise reflects different problems: gear box noise may indicate gear wear, hydraulic system noise may indicate that the oil pump failure, mechanical structure noise may imply loose connections. Should be based on the noise characteristics to determine the location of the fault, timely maintenance and repair.

Troubleshooting and diagnosis of the shearing machine requires the operator to have professional knowledge and rich experience. The establishment of a perfect equipment inspection system and good daily maintenance can effectively prevent most of the failures. For complex faults, professional maintenance personnel should be contacted in a timely manner to avoid blind operation resulting in greater losses. Through scientific maintenance management, you can maximize the processing performance of the shearing machine and extend the service life of the equipment.
