Especially for moisture absorbing materials such as nylon, high moisture content in resin can cause screws on the China rolling machine to slip. In addition, improper drying can significantly reduce the viscosity of the material, and water vapor will be generated inside the barrel, thereby reducing the transmission of the screw. Therefore, a moisture analyzer can be used to measure the moisture content of the dried material before processing, so that the drying level of the material meets the supplier's guaranteed value. The following is the analysis of the slippage of the rolling machine by the editor. Sliding screws will cause material degradation and a decrease in product quality. When the screw slips, most of the material gathers at the feed inlet, causing it to not be transported to the end of the injection molding machine properly. When the screw rotates inside the barrel and retracts to transport materials for the next time, the screw slip will produce a plasticizing section.
At this point, the screw continues to rotate, but its axial movement will stop, resulting in slippage. Screw slippage often leads to material degradation before injection molding, resulting in reduced product quality (such as material shortage) and prolonging the molding cycle.
The reasons for screw slippage in the plate China rolling machine are multifaceted, and may be related to factors such as high back pressure, overheating or undercooling at the end of the material barrel, wear of the material barrel or screw, shallow threads in the feeding section, unreasonable or blocked hopper planning, resin wetting, excessive resin lubrication, thin material, and unfair cutting of resin and recycled materials.
The main reason for the slippage of the rolling machine is that the bottom of the bucket is too cold. The barrel of the rolling machine is divided into three sections. In the feeding section, during the heating and compression process, the pellets will form a molten film and adhere to the screw. Without this film, particles are not easily transported to the front end. The material in the feeding section of the China rolling machine must be heated to a critical temperature to form a molten film at the joint. But in general, the residence time of materials in the feeding section is very short and cannot reach the required temperature. This environment is usually generated on small injection molding machines. If the residence time is too short, the melting and wrapping process of the polymer will be incomplete, leading to screw slippage or stall.
