Laser cutting machine as a precision equipment, its operation process involves high-voltage electricity, high temperature, bright light and other dangerous factors, must strictly comply with the operating procedures. 1, The preparation stage of the equipment precautions

Laser cutting machine has specific requirements for environmental conditions. The equipment should be installed in a well-ventilated, dry and clean place, avoiding direct sunlight and humid environments. The floor of the working area should be flat and stable, and the space around the equipment should be kept at least one meter for easy operation and maintenance. The ambient temperature should be maintained between 15-30 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity should not exceed 70%.

A thorough inspection is required before powering on the unit. Confirm that the power supply of the equipment is connected correctly and the voltage is stable within the rated range. Check whether the water level of the cooling system is normal and whether the coolant is clean and sufficient. The guide rail, screw and other moving parts should be kept lubricated. Focusing lens and reflector must be clean and free of pollution, which is a key factor to ensure the quality of cutting. The gas supply system needs to check the pressure gauge readings to ensure that the pressure of auxiliary gases (e.g. oxygen, nitrogen) reaches the set value.

Material preparation is equally important. The processing material needs to be placed flat on the working table, and the thickness should be within the permissible range of the equipment. Oils and coatings on the surface of the sheet metal will affect the cutting effect and should be cleaned up in advance. Special care should be taken with flammable materials, and their suitability for laser processing must be confirmed.

2, Safety norms during operation

Personal protective equipment is essential. Operation must wear special laser protective glasses, different wavelengths of laser need to be equipped with the appropriate level of protection glasses. Wear tight-fitting overalls to avoid loose clothing being involved in moving parts. Prohibit the wearing of metal jewelry to prevent injury caused by reflected laser light.

After the equipment is started, first carry out the low power test. Observe whether the laser light output is stable and the optical path is accurate. Adjust the focus to the best position to ensure that the focus falls on the material surface. Set the appropriate power, speed and gas pressure parameters according to the type and thickness of the material. Conservative parameters should be selected for the initial cutting and optimized gradually.

The whole process must be monitored. Pay attention to observe the cutting spark state, the normal should be a uniform jet. Abnormal conditions such as spark splash, smoke or cut impervious, should be immediately suspended for inspection. When the equipment is running, it is strictly prohibited to open the protective door to prevent laser leakage and injury. The operating table surface to keep clean, tools and sundries shall not be placed in the moving parts within the scope of activities.

3, Maintenance and Emergency Handling

Daily maintenance is the basis for guaranteeing the life of the equipment. At the end of each day's work, clean the worktable residue and dust collection box. Check the cleanliness of the optical lens every week and wipe it with special cleaner and dust-free paper if necessary. Guide rails and screws are filled with special lubricant every month to maintain smooth movement. Regularly check whether the cables and connectors are aging and replace the broken parts in time.

The maintenance of the optical system is especially important. Reflector and focusing mirror should avoid touching directly with hands to prevent leaving oil stains. When cleaning, use analyzed pure alcohol and special wiping paper, gently wipe along a single direction. When installing the lens, pay attention to the positive and negative directions and make sure the seal is intact. The lens should be replaced in time if it is found to have scratches or the plating is peeling off.

Emergencies need to be handled calmly. When the equipment abnormal alarm, immediately press the emergency stop button to cut off the power supply. In case of fire, use carbon dioxide fire extinguisher to put out the fire, prohibit the use of water to extinguish the fire. Injuries to personnel first cut off the power supply, laser burns need to be rinsed with clean cold water and seek medical attention. Each accident should record the details, analyze the cause and take preventive measures.

Operators should participate in regular safety training, familiarize themselves with equipment manuals, and understand the latest safety regulations. Establish an equipment usage log to record daily operation and maintenance. Maintenance intervals recommended by the manufacturer must be strictly enforced, and abnormalities found should be promptly contacted to professional maintenance personnel.
